The 1999 Annual Report cover wins a Citation of Excellence at the 2001
South Dakota ADDY awards and the full report receives the Silver Award
(2nd) at the Utility Communicators International Contest in Phoenix, Arizona.

In 1999, the company divided into three distinct sections. The design of the annual report reflected the divisions through a series of three gate folds, each with one powerful word and image to describe the strength of the division. The uniqueness in the layout of the annual report allowed the color and images to successfully separate and unite the newly formed business units.
